About The Mix
Today we have a new entry for your attention - a Californian label
Kid Without Radio and it's representatives
Egadz and
Edison. Both guys share the love for machines that make beats and "F... the radio!" attitude and each of them has their own approach towards living it up. Their mixtape really is a double mix. First part is made by
Egadz - hip-hop dj back in a day and now full time producer and founder of the Kid Without Radio label. For Mondayjazz mix he remixed, sliced up, chopped and screwed his (alter ego's Matterhorn as well) own tracks plus exclusively for this compilation he added 2 unreleased joints from the upcoming album. Detail worth paying attention - all of this is made without "borrowed" samples, using only self made sounds. Second part is by
Egadz colleague
Edison - beatmaker and gear inventor especially known for playing with lunchboxes converted into Monome controllers. His deposit into consolidated operation is unreleased "Spazz Out Mix", made from his exclusive beats, recorded just for Mondayjazz.
Talking about general sound, it is sonically challenging and technically well fulfilled. In conclusion - those bearded guys know how to rock with their fingertips!
