About The Mix

Emotional contrasts. This is what Sugga Summer Storms brings to us on this rainy Monday morning. Selection quite clearly reflects the concept of authors own sound. Lilea Narrative is a promising french producer, who describes his music as electro hip-hop. Tracks made in hip-hop manner, but with strong electronic influence. So the MJ mix 141 mostly balances on this pole too. Basically it is a hip-hop mix, delivering strong flows, strict beats and street smartness. Electronic side comes as an additional toping and mostly consists of smooth warm contemplations, that are best reflected in the opening track of the compilation. Unlike slight stylistic transistions, mood matters involves drastic opposites. Sophisticated grooves swaping with elemental (not to be confused with elementary) muscular shots, Yarah Bravo's twitter as an compliment to patois gunman themes and vice versa. So let's say it is a celebration of life expressed in balance between aggression and tenderness.
