About The Mix

In life interpretations on a jazz theme or jazzy improvisations on life's theme. That is how mix Minutes, Days. Sun, Soil. by The Dene Road from UK can be introduced. Although The Dene Road himself is a Beats music maker, his mix is non typical having in mind his creation and context of music promoted by most of DJ's in general.
Basically core of the compilation is based on jazz and tracks by such genre's monsters as Charles Mingus or Ornette Coleman, but there is enough room for daparting in any direction, that life can bring. First of all - geographically. You can hear music from Jamaica, Cuba, Brazil, West Africa, Greece... Finally, after wandering through the globe we are taken on a short excursion to space of particularly deep Beats. Here The Dene Road by the help of one track modestly presents his own art.
The most importantly, every track is some what of a adventure cleraly reflecting the theme it should represent. Moods are variuous, but again accented and very strong - from euphoric melancholy to pulsing drama.
Evaluation is relative thing, but this mix is of rare subtlety and taste.
