About The Mix

Seems like not that long ago we had a mix by Japanese Ichiro_ and this week for your and our attention compilation Clax Loop x Tokyo Beat Science by his native beatmaker and producer Ogiyy. Name of the mix seems a little bit strange until checking Ogiyy biography further. Clax Loop Pro is united project of Ogiyy himself, graphic designer toi73, BMX rider youhey and movie director zakky. Tokyo Beat Science is team joining and searching for fresh, progressive and unfound DJ's, producers and artists.
As it can be expected from person who creates music, the biggest part of tracklist is combined of tunes by Ogiyy himself or his mates. Music sounding in it can be called beats, but more from hip-hop side rather than electronics, however it also does not lack of futuristic cosmological motives. Compilation develops in some what of chapters. In the beginning a bit of atmospheric echoing strokes, later there's lean towards soulful territory and finally it takes to the section of modern hip-hop, in which we find not only forward looking instrumentals but also some rap in English and Japanese. And for the ending Ogiyy delivers so more abstractions.
MJ mix No. 107 confirms that Japan has something to offer not only in the field of modern technologies but also in modern urban music as well.
