About The Mix

The Secret Ostra Brama Session

One cold winter night two friends were digging in their vinyl cases back to back and played song after song. Warm colors lighted arches and warm surroundings of the room, made them play downtempo.
A house numbered 6 at Švyturys street just next to the real city gates of Vilnius, inspired a session, which will be spinning on your players for a long time, and there is simply nothing you can do about it.
The fellows Antanas Bossanova™ and Caffe Ballet have spontaneously selected all that is best from the packages of vinyl's they received in the past several years. In a rush and competing with the beat of inspiration in their heads, they have picked such excellent songs that you couldn't do better even if you tried to carefully and rationally construct a compilation for publishing.
Beautiful downtempo which can drive you out of your mind, easy and pleasant psychedelics, delicious beats, turning into dub, electro boogie and a most electrified version of the most beautiful song in the world - "the look of love", which is followed by mystified triphop version of the country song from legendary film O Brother, Where Art Thou? - is only a part of all the good stuff recorded in the live Ostra Brama session.
"Dreamy brass and bass straight and deep into your heart" - says Caffe Ballet, while fixing his top hat.
"Be careful, it is a mix which will change your life forever" - responsibly announces Antanas Bossanova™.
