About The Mix
So, as I've said: "Warm R&B for warming up a cold autumn"
Dj Alda has been collecting records for almost 20 years. He is 33 now and doesn't know how to pimp his myspace anymore, but he is now rated as one of the best R&B DJs in Sweden.
As the latest trend among Stockholm's hipsters is to listen to Mondayjazz in their white players of a popular brand, dj Alda couldn't resist the urge to record a mix for us.
Above The Storm is a truly sweet, R&B, soul, neo soul compilation, which brings us back to a sincere and natural world of love music, but this is a somewhat false impression you get from the first part of the compilation. Later Alda's soul plays with synthetics and meets an electronic beat.
If you are not dancing with your colleague next to the conveyor, after 70 beautiful and musical minutes, your heart is definitely made of stone.
