About The Mix
Public Walkman's Intimity
After a busy weekend, while celebrating the new season of Mondayjazz, it came a Monday when you really need a rest. This time it comes from most respected electronica believers - Sutemos.net label.
Walkman is a long known melomane, who quite often spins the records at the parties, but his mission is better to delight ravers' ears and brains than feet.
His mix recorded for Mondayjazz it is called "For Erika", that's why we probably need to consider her as inspiration of this work. Thank You, Erika. Walkman did great!
"For Erika" starts with bleary-eyed twilight, bravely welcomes electronic beat and again lulls very calmly. Sorry, Erika, but compilation recorded for you, would suit well as a soundtrack for the film of D. Lynch's son, if he had one.
Later track turns to a lyric vocals grove, weave through jazz, but not for a moment leaves electronic aside. Clicks ‚n‘ cuts and love...
And we are sure that will listen to this mix, when everything will piss off.
Compilation ends with delightful Sigur Ros piece
"Saeglopur" which makes people angry on coke.
Take a rest,
Mondayjazz
